French Dip Crescents with Simple Au Jus
Dinner, lunch, or a great appetizer for soccer season. This French Dip Crescents & easy Au Jus Recipe is a winner each time!


ESPN, sports center, Fox sports, you name it, it is on my television practically 24/7 at the same time as my hubby is domestic.  it's miles that time of 12 months when sports activities is in the center of our lives.  as long as FSU is doing nicely, we are all glad! LOL  in the meantime, i love to make tons of snacks at the weekend in place of big meals. those keep anybody happy as they pop inside and outside of the kitchen during the day.  i have been seeking out new, comfortable, innovative recipes to try and that is a winner!

You have to do this excellent clean French Dip Crescents! whilst i used to be looking, every recipe i discovered for the Au Jus changed into so complicated, and it didn’t need to be.  i have also included a honest au jus recipe.




Ingredients


  • 2 pkg crescent rolls - 8 count
  • 1 pound roast beef - deli/ thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces Swiss cheese slices - or provolone

Au Jus

  • 14 oz beef broth
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 sprinkle garlic powder
  • 1 tsp corn starch

Instructions


  1. Unroll crescents onto a large cookie sheet.
  2. On each crescent place a slice of roast beef and a piece of cheese.
  3. Roll crescents starting from the wide end and ending at the narrow end.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes, until crescents are a golden color.
  5. Serve with Au Jus and enjoy!

Au jus

  1. Heat all of the ingredients in a small sauce pan over medium high heat whisking well. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Serve with crescents and enjoy.
