5-INGREDIENT CAPRESE PHYLLO CUPS
At my maximum latest e book club, my buddy Kerry served a delicious tomato basil bruschetta.  And i have been craving all matters caprese ever because.  So this weekend, I gathered some sparkling ingredients from the marketplace and decided to create a new appetizer — Caprese Phyllo Cups!


these simple little phyllo cup appetizer could not be simpler.  All you want are five substances — any kind of tomatoes, mozzarella, sparkling basil, balsamic vinegar, and of route, my favourite little phyllo cups (or you can make baked cups with wonton wrappers).  And less than ten mins later, you may have an entire batch equipped to serve and enjoy.  So brief and smooth.  And so sparkling and delicious!

I’m already searching forward to creating those once more.  i've a little stoop that can take place a lot this summer time.   ;)

INGREDIENTS:


  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 (15-count) package mini phyllo cups
  • 15 grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, diced or torn into small pieces
  • 4 large fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces

DIRECTIONS:


  1. Bring balsamic vinegar to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 3-5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Remove from heat.
  2. Portion the tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil between the phyllo cups. Drizzle with the reduced balsamic vinegar. Serve immediately
