Slow Cooker Sausage, Potato and Cabbage
I’ve been wanting to make a sluggish cooker dish like this for a long term and that i’m so glad that I subsequently got round to it. I looked on Pinterest to look if there have been any comparable recipes and didn’t discover a whole lot.
I had by no means cooked sausage or cabbage within the gradual cooker earlier than so I wasn’t sure how they would turn out. The cabbage did virtually nicely and held up to the lengthy, sluggish cooking, but it’s little greater limp than after I cook dinner it in a skillet. The sausage did nicely too, however it does lose some of the flavor whilst you prepare dinner all of it day. in case you want extra taste then i would advocate browning the sausage in a saucepan then adding it in with the greens simply earlier than serving.
I without a doubt love the tangy bite that this dish has because it goes nicely with the sausage and greens. It’s nearly like a tangy German Potato Salad with some extras to make it a whole meal. This recipe makes loads so plan on having leftovers if you have a small family. revel in! Slow Cooker Sausage, Potato and Cabbage
