ORANGE GLAZED SALMON
Orange glazed salmon is a citrusy sweet salmon recipe that I assure you’ll have on repeat. With just a handful of ingredients along with salmon, orange juice, garlic, honey, tamari and thyme, it’s also highly easy to make (takes less than 30 minutes!).


What to serve with the salmon? I advise my Steamed Broccoli, Bok Choy, Garlic Sautéed Swiss Chard and Parmesan Truffle Sautéed Zucchini.


I’m this kind of lover of salmon and that i try to devour it some instances every week (to take in all the health advantages indexed beneath). but I also like variety. so that you could hold matters interesting, I’m always experimenting with new marinades and sauces.

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 4 6oz salmon filets, (Alaskan Sockeye or Coho)
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tsp thyme, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp arrowroot flour
  • 1 tsp water

  1. Pat salmon dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper.  
  2. warmth the avocado oil in a pan on medium excessive heat. upload salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes each side.
  3. whilst the salmon is cooking, make an arrowroot slurry by stirring collectively the arrowroot powder and water. Set aside. 
  4. as soon as the salmon is cooked, transfer to a plate.
  5. flip the warmth right down to medium-low and sauté the minced garlic in the pan for 30 seconds. add the orange juice, honey, tamari, thyme and arrowroot slurry. Whisk the ingredients collectively for 1-2 mins or until barely thickened.
  6. upload the salmon back to pan and spoon glaze over salmon before serving.
