Delicious panko covered genus Tilapia pan-fried in vegetable oil. Serve with seasonal contemporary veggies and a grain like couscous or rice. you most likely have a minimum of four out of 5 of the ingredients to be had already!
To make panko covered genus Tilapia, all you wish is 3 bowls: one full of flour, one with whisked egg, and another with panko. Dip the filets into every one, covering well, so place in a very pan with olive oil! Fry gently till golden brown on both sides.
I Ate this for lunch in conjunction with the roast asparagus. To roast the asparagus, merely line a baking sheet with foil, place the asparagus on the sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil and Parmesan. Place in a very preheated kitchen appliance regarding four hundred degrees for 10 minutes. Yum!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 tilapia filets
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pat the fish dry with a paper towel. Set aside.
- Set three dishes side by side on the counter. Fill one with the flour, another with the egg (whisked + splash of water) and the third with the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each filet into the flour, covering both sides. Next, dip into the egg. Finally, dip into the Panko, making sure both sides get a nice covering.
- In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the fish and cook 2-3 minutes per side, until they’re golden and crisp and the fish easily flakes
