Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas
these pan fried cinnamon bananas are soooooo true! They only take a couple of minutes to make and that they transform uninteresting vintage bananas into a drool-worthy snack or dessert. I eat my pan fried bananas all on their personal, however they would flavor excellent (significantly first rate) served over ice cream. Or you can consume them with yogurt. or even on french toast or pancakes. They’re caramelized at the out of doors with a tender and candy inner and make a great dessert topping. Yum!

I’ll be the primary character to admit that I’m now not the largest banana fan, or at least no longer the most important raw banana fan. certain, I’ll devour them cut up in my bowl of Cheerios, or in conjunction with a spoonful of peanut butter once I need to minimize my urge for food. but I don’t typically study the bananas sitting in our fruit bowl at the counter and suppose to myself, “Mmmmm… bananas”. (but that’s possibly due to the fact I’m already heading closer to the cookies… I really need to work on that…)

I assume I need to alternate the manner I consider bananas, because do you understand what I DO love? Cooked bananas. guy oh man, I’m now not sure what happens to bananas after they get heated up, however WOW, they start to taste sooooo accurate! once they hit the frying pan they cross from a “Meh” fruit to an “Ohhhhhh, yes!” dessert. They get amazing sweet, and nearly tangy. From uninteresting to awesome in only some mins!

I just wasn’t feeling the vibe for a hard challenge today. So i'm able to guarantee you that these pan fried bananas are brief and clean! They totally glad my laziness for the day! And on top of being smooth, they jogged my memory of the pan fried bananas my mother used to make whilst i used to be developing up. So true! So the deal with turned into really worth it!

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas, cut into ½" pieces
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 2 Tablespoons raw honey (or regular honey)

Instructions

  1. Combine the cinnamon, butter and honey in a frying pan over medium-high heat until melted and combined.
  2. Add the banana slices and cook for 4 minutes until the bottoms start to caramelize and turn golden brown. Adjust the temperature and cooking time as needed so that they don't burn.
  3. Flip all the banana pieces and cook for another 4 minutes until the other side is golden brown.
  4. Serve immediately over ice cream, yogurt, pancakes or french toast.
